The sun was shining on Solvalla today. A perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Punching Behemoth sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Strong Asteroid suddenly started to galop. Örjan Kihlström had to struggle to get Strong Asteroid to tror again and succeded after 40 m. driver couldn't keep Jeudi Saint to trotting so they were disqualified.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Punching Behemoth clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Le Petit Nareye suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 40 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Travelling Witch followed by Punching Behemoth and Strong Asteroid. Lane two Bijou Rouge followed by Quattro Stallino and Frozen Boulder.



With only a little left of the race Punching Behemoth galoped for 40 m. Bijou Rouge sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Winner of todays race was Bijou Rouge. Travelling Witch came in second. Quattro Stallino became third.
