One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Purple Moment took the lead after a very quick start. When the startcar left the field Puygrenier started to galop and lost 20 m.




Walnut Grove Willie saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




The leader got disturbed by something and Purple Moment took the lead rather easily.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Purple Moment today. It continued in the lead.



Spin Around Victory litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Purple Moment made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Spin Around Victory.
