It had been raining for several days at Romme but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Trappist tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Dynamit Gustav Vasa that came steaming ahead.




Frozen Action saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Hoping Blast sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Hoping Blast followed by Dynamit Gustav Vasa and Tranquil Vanilla. Lane two Sunlover followed by Trappist and Frozen Action.




Sunlover took the lead.



Trappist suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.






Trappist didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
