The weather had been good all week and Kausala was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Green King found a gap and took the lead. Little Whirlwind followed before Hamlet's Riverdance. driver couldn't keep Deceitful Daisy to trotting so they were disqualified.




Journey To Paradise saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. A bird flew just in front of Little Whirlwind who started to galop and lost 50 m.




Journey To Paradise clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Unknown suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 40 m.

Royal Canadian was disturbed and galopped for 50 m.




No-one could catch Journey To Paradise today who won before Green King and Tempting Star.
