The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Romme today.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Carlos Marinella took the lead after a very quick start.

Rolling Dreamcatcher quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

Gentleman Pirate looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Sad Mambo couldn't come out from behind the leader, Rolling Dreamcatcher.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Rolling Dreamcatcher followed by Carlos Marinella and Sad Mambo. Lane two Pampered Lipstick followed by Magnificent Moose and Gentleman Pirate.

Rolling Dreamcatcher sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Magnificent Moose sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
