The weather had been good all week and Åby was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Frozen Needle sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Modestine sprinted to the front.




Pinstripe´s Ester sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Pinstripe´s Ester was still in the lead after 1500m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Modestine gallopped for 20 m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Falling Brightness gallopped for 10 m.




Pinstripe´s Ester was still in the lead after 2000m. Modestine gallopped 30 m after 2000m.



Frozen Needle was first on the homestretch followed by Pinstripe´s Ester and Falling Brightness.






Frozen Needle kept the speed the whole finish and won before Pinstripe´s Ester and Falling Brightness.
