The weather had been good all week and Umåker was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Light Brightness found a gap and took the lead. Giant Superman followed before Stretching Meadow.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Stretching Meadow sprinted to the front.




Horký Podivínský looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Light Brightness couldn't come out from behind the leader, Stretching Meadow.




Light Brightness looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.




Light Brightness didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead. Lützen Larockma showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.



Light Brightness looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Winner of todays race was Light Brightness. Giant Superman came in second. Stretching Meadow became third.
