One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Wondering Pony took the lead after a very quick start.




Wondering Pony was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.




The leader got disturbed by something and Nouveau Triomphe took the lead rather easily. Unknown galoped after 1000m and lost 30 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Nouveau Triomphe followed by Gouillard and Wondering Pony. Lane two Royal Speed followed by Unpredictable and Powerful Thinking.



Nouveau Triomphe were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Nouveau Triomphe galop. Nouveau Triomphe lost 10 m.




Royal Speed won the race after a spectacular finish.
