It had been raining for several days at Åby but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



The players just had time to make their last bets before the start. All horses seemed to be in good shape this day.





Sacre Coeur took the lead after a very quick start. When the startcar left the field Solid Stone started to galop and lost 40 m. Olle Goop wanted a little to much in the start and Modestine galoped for 10 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Solid Stone, Modestine, Moma As, Sneaky Piece, Sansai Palema, Eri Hidas, Sacre Coeur, Bonnel.




Modestine looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Sneaky Piece couldn't come out from behind the leader, Solid Stone. Sansai Palema suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 50 m.




Modestine accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.



Modestine looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Jörgen Sjunnesson tried a little too much on the homestretch and Sneaky Piece started to galopp and lost 40 m.




No-one could catch Modestine today who won before Sacre Coeur and Solid Stone.
