It had been raining for several days at Joensuu but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Pinstripe´s Alfonso Capone was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.

Gold Stormwind looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Active Knight couldn't come out from behind the leader, Pinstripe´s Alfonso Capone.

Pinstripe´s Alfonso Capone kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Pinstripe´s Alfonso Capone galop. Pinstripe´s Alfonso Capone lost 50 m.




Active Knight made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Gold Stormwind.
