One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Rapala tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Trappist that came steaming ahead. Pietro Gambadilegno was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m.




Useless Resignation saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Rapala sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Rapala today. It continued in the lead. Smiling Brightness galloped for 30 m.



Rapala kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Rapala kept the speed the whole finish and won before Trappist and Holy Cheesus.
