One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Betulaceae tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Black Abyss that came steaming ahead. When the startcar left the field Breaking Cocktail started to galop and lost 20 m. Sad Needle was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m.

Giggling Witch quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Precious Ace suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 10 m.

Black Abyss looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.

Black Abyss were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Close Bandwith won. Black Abyss came in second. Giggling Witch caught third place.
