The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Solvalla this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Riesiger Held sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




This is the positions after 500m. Intelligent Thinking, Countdown To Zero, Old Satellite, The Chop, Riesiger Held, Quilly Du Marais, Private Property, Advanced Beard.




Intelligent Thinking was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Intelligent Thinking followed by Old Satellite and Riesiger Held. Lane two Private Property followed by Advanced Beard and The Chop. Quilly Du Marais galloped for 40 m.




Intelligent Thinking didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.



Intelligent Thinking sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Örjan Kihlström tried a little too much on the homestretch and Countdown To Zero started to galopp and lost 10 m.




Advanced Beard won. Intelligent Thinking came in second. Private Property caught third place.
