One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Tireur D'élite could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. wanted a little to much in the start and Unknown galoped for 50 m.

Tireur D'élite was in fine shape and held the lead.

Surveiller sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Snowing Starlight was disturbed and galoped 50 m.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Surveiller followed by Tireur D'élite and Solid Moon. Lane two Hero Master followed by Tripping Moment and Shooting Blast.

Surveiller didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.

Hero Master litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Örjan Kihlström tried a little too much on the homestretch and Hero Master started to galopp and lost 40 m.

Final standings. 1 Surveiller, 2 Tireur D'élite, 3 Tripping Moment.
