One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Vrouw Universum found a gap and took the lead. Back Flip followed before Étonnement Jeune.




Étonnement Jeune quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Back Flip sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Vrouw Universum looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.




Vrouw Universum sat safely in the lead after 2000m.



Vrouw Universum looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Vrouw Universum kept the speed the whole finish and won before Back Flip and Prima Spring.
