One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Troubling Electra took the lead after a very quick start.




Lezra Hamilton quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Cavaliere Di Roma took the lead after 1000m. Whatever Moonlight didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Cavaliere Di Roma today. It continued in the lead. Whatever Moonlight galloped way to long and was disqualified. Fuerza Hamilton started to gallop after 1500m and Mauri Jaara had to struggle to get it back in trotting.




Cavaliere Di Roma sat safely in the lead after 2000m.



Cavaliere Di Roma showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Troubling Electra suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.






Troubling Electra didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
