One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Rascasse could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Counterfeit Wonder quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Star Control was disturbed and galoped 30 m.




Rascasse sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Nero Diavolo looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.




Drooling Universe took the lead. Nero Diavolo galloped way to long and was disqualified.



Naar De Mijmeren was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. Drooling Universe were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Drooling Universe didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
