One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Falling Gal tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Criminal Noname that came steaming ahead. When the startcar left the field Amazing Sparrow started to galop and lost 30 m. Jolly Rebel showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galloping. This is the positions after 500m. Örjanfrånbörjan, Falling Gal, Durmstrang Superior, Cash On Fire, Belle De Jour, Criminal Noname, Carlos Porter, Amazing Sparrow. The leader got disturbed by something and Falling Gal took the lead rather easily. Standings after 1500m . Lane one Falling Gal followed by Amazing Sparrow and Carlos Porter. Lane two Belle De Jour followed by Örjanfrånbörjan and Abbastanza Mai. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Criminal Noname gallopped for 40 m.
