Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Mantorp track was in top-condition. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Judging Tiger tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Directeur Sportif that came steaming ahead. The leader couldn't hold the lead and Avocat Du Diable sprinted to the front. Fast Printer sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Directeur Sportif looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Directeur Sportif kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead. Directeur Sportif kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch. The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Sinterklaas galop. Sinterklaas lost 50 m. Final standings. 1 Criminal Balders Balle, 2 Avocat Du Diable, 3 Directeur Sportif.
