One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Blue Fountain could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Suitcase Matthew quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Blue Fountain was disturbed and galoped 50 m. Marilda Larockma sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Storm Pegasos showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. driver couldn't keep Blue Fountain to trotting so they were disqualified. Nothing seemed to be able to stop Marilda Larockma today. It continued in the lead. Kvarngärdets Briska started to gallop after 1500m and Hans-Owe Sundberg had to struggle to get it back in trotting. With only a little left of the race Marilda Larockma galoped for 40 m. Narkissos Kronos speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch. Joakim Lövgren tried a little too much on the homestretch and Marilda Larockma started to galopp and lost 20 m. Suitcase Matthew won. Narkissos Kronos came in second. Cykeltjuven caught third place.
