Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Årjäng track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Volcanic Bomb was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Sneaking Ballerina was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m. Carlos Amarone suddenly started to galop. Jorma Kontio had to struggle to get Carlos Amarone to tror again and succeded after 20 m.




Sneaking Ballerina saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Carlos Amarone sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Sneaking Ballerina suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 40 m.



Carlos Amarone sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.






Champagne Hof never caught up with Carlos Amarone who won. Melbourne Night Prowler came third.
