Start List
One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Dreaming Lion took the lead after a very quick start. Sinterklaas was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m. There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. Scarlatti Hof started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. Breathing Heroine looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Foamy Cleanser couldn't come out from behind the leader, Hac Icy Cherry. Arrested Again was disturbed and galoped 30 m. Breathing Heroine was still in the lead after 1500m. Sinterklaas kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead. Breathing Heroine were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line. Maurice Greene never caught up with Rebellious Sniper who won. Sinterklaas came third. Results
