The sun was shining on Färjestad and it was a perfect day for trotting.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Lone Power was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.

Lone Power was in fine shape and held the lead. Destry Rides Again started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Eyeforaneye sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Brown Bandwagon galloped for 60m and was disqualified. Rocks The Track galloped for 60m and was disqualified.

With only a little left of the race Seductive Admiral galoped for 50 m. With only a little left of the race Étoile De Mer galoped for 40 m. With only a little left of the race Destry Rides Again galoped for 20 m. Troubling Meadow sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Brown Bandwagon showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.

Lone Power sprinted over the finishline before Troubling Meadow and Pinstripe´s Chloe.
