It had been raining for several days at Lappeenranta but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Dupire found a gap and took the lead. Running Thinking followed before Pants On Fire.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Pants On Fire sprinted to the front.




Bright Lily sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Wolly Doll galoped after 1000m and lost 30 m.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Bright Lily today. It continued in the lead. Dupire galloped for 30 m.




Pants On Fire seemed to be in top-form this day and took over the lead.



Pants On Fire looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Pants On Fire kept the speed the whole finish and won before Running Thinking and Bright Lily.
