One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Squeezer tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Ants that came steaming ahead. Klaus Kern wanted a little to much in the start and Inkas Atna galoped for 30 m. Starstruck Twister was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m.
Toronto Maiden quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.
The leader got disturbed by something and Cheerful Band took the lead rather easily. Inkas Atna galoped after 1000m and lost 50 m.
Nothing seemed to be able to stop Cheerful Band today. It continued in the lead.
Squeezer put some pressure on the leader and could take over.
With only a little left of the race Toronto Maiden galoped for 40 m. Squeezer looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.
Final standings. 1 Good Looking Wave, 2 Squeezer, 3 Focused Bullet.
