Only a humble breeze blew over Gävle this day. The track where in perfect shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Beautiful Stardust found a gap and took the lead. Pobornik followed before Neon Godiva.




Listening Boy saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Pobornik started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified. Neon Godiva showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.




Beautiful Stardust sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Zagreb Entertainer galoped after 1000m and lost 30 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Beautiful Stardust followed by Listening Boy and Pobornik. Lane two Staro Illinois followed by Lützen Larockma and Zagreb Entertainer.



Staro Illinois litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Lützen Larockma sprinted over the finishline before Beautiful Stardust and Staro Illinois.
