One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Commerciante tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Silver Body that came steaming ahead.

Peck Hof quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

Peck Hof clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.

Tranquil Closet looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.

Tranquil Closet sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Commerciante sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
