The sun was shining on Kalmar and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Gold Quattro Stagioni sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead.




Heavy Boulder quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Heavy Boulder today. It continued in the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Lonely Heroine gallopped for 10 m.




Redhawk Pegasos suddenly took over the lead.



Redhawk Pegasos looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.
