The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Kurtakko today. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. River Raid could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. The leader couldn't hold the lead and Carlos Calera sprinted to the front. No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Nothing seemed to be able to stop Carlos Calera today. It continued in the lead. Carlos Calera were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line. Mimoun was disturbed and galopped for 10 m. River Raid won the race after a spectacular finish. Results
