The sun was shining on Åmål and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Sliding Paradigm found a gap and took the lead. Butternut followed before Brian Hall Justice. When the startcar left the field Armagnac Hof started to galop and lost 10 m.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




Butternut took the lead after 1000m. Sliding Paradigm didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Sliding Paradigm saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.




Sliding Paradigm kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead. Sliding Paradigm was disturbed and gallopped for 20 m.



Sliding Paradigm sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Winner of todays race was Sliding Paradigm. Butternut came in second. Armagnac Hof became third.
