One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Astro Man tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to
Fast Factory that came steaming ahead. When the startcar left the field Call Me Al started to galop and lost 30 m. When the startcar left the field Deena started to galop and lost 10 m.
Astro Man saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.
The leader got disturbed by something and
Call Me Al took the lead rather easily.
Fast Factory looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.
Fast Factory sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.
Call Me Al sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
