One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Bright Gold could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Dreaming Arraow was to tense at the start and galloped for 10 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Wimpy Passion, Passionate Velvet, Bright Gold, Aggressive Paladin, Amazing Glaze, Dreaming Arraow, Max Beard, Criminal Warden.




Wimpy Passion was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Wimpy Passion followed by Criminal Warden and Vieux Guerrier. Lane two Bright Gold followed by Max Beard and Aggressive Paladin.



driver couldn't keep Aggressive Paladin to trotting so they were disqualified. Wimpy Passion kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Max Beard made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Bright Gold.
