One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Purple Heart took the lead after a very quick start.




Pinstripe´s Von Dexter saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




The leader got disturbed by something and Purple Heart took the lead rather easily.




Pinstripe´s Von Dexter looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. driver couldn't keep Purple Heart to trotting so they were disqualified.




Pinstripe´s Von Dexter was still in the lead after 2000m.



Pinstripe´s Von Dexter looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Pinstripe´s Von Dexter didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
