Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Kalmar track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Criminal Tyke Mörbult was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Firarn sprinted to the front.




Firarn clinged on to the lead after a 1000m.




Firarn was still in the lead after 1500m.




Firarn sat safely in the lead after 2000m.



Firarn looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






King Lightning never caught up with Firarn who won. Criminal Tyke Mörbult came third.
