One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Lying Moonlight tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Mirage De Victoire that came steaming ahead.




Punching Scout quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Nouveau Triomphe sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Drooling Scope was disturbed and galoped 30 m.
