One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Couture tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Bancroft Hof that came steaming ahead.




This is the positions after 500m. Magic Hope, Couture, Elegant Pearl, Rolling Moment, Bancroft Hof, Wolfpack, Singing Sun, Pointing Ballerina. Pointing Ballerina started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Couture looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Bancroft Hof couldn't come out from behind the leader, Magic Hope.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Magic Hope today. It continued in the lead.




Magic Hope was still in the lead after 2000m.



Magic Hope sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Winner of todays race was Magic Hope. Bancroft Hof came in second. Wolfpack became third.
