One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Appel could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Independant Universe saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Independant Universe followed by Walking Action and Blue Fist. Lane two Rich Running Rick followed by Appel and Epic Failure.




Walking Action put some pressure on the leader and could take over.



Rich Running Rick was first on the homestretch followed by Appel and Walking Action.






Winner of todays race was Rich Running Rick. Appel came in second. Walking Action became third.
