One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Feuergeist tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Eternal Thinker that came steaming ahead. Courageous Knight was to eager when the car accellerated, galopped and was disqualified.

This is the positions after 500m. Feuergeist, Tangerine Dream, Coin Perdu, Giunchi, Eternal Thinker, Duck Says Quack, Wandering Thinker, Clever Hero. Wolf Bat started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Feuergeist today. It continued in the lead. Courageous Knight started to gallop after 1500m and Per Gustafsson had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Coin Perdu speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Wandering Thinker made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Feuergeist.
