The sun was shining on Solänget and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Giggling Wind tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Falling Night that came steaming ahead.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Axelle Dark accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.




Axelle Dark was still in the lead after 2000m.



Flickering Gold litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Falling Night made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Axelle Dark.
