Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Mantorp track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Yellow Card could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Yellow Card was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.




Vanilla Eyes looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Sydney Girl couldn't come out from behind the leader, Yellow Card.




Vanilla Eyes accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.



Vanilla Eyes kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Vanilla Eyes galop. Vanilla Eyes lost 30 m. Shipoopi galopped for 30 m on the homestretch.




Yellow Card sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
