It had been raining for several days at Solvalla but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Broken Man found a gap and took the lead. Meadow Ring followed before Cunning Bandwagon. Gladys Opal was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Sans Opinion, Cunning Bandwagon, Gladys Opal, Pinstripe´s Dyrka, Dusty Lemon, Broken Man, Love In December, Exotic Addiction. Honourable Piece was disturbed and galoped 20 m.

Gladys Opal sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Love In December saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead.

With only a little left of the race Sans Opinion galoped for 40 m. Meadow Ring litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Meadow Ring didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
