One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Exclusive Hi-Hat took the lead after a very quick start.




This is the positions after 500m. Tonic, General Thinking, Exclusive Hi-Hat, Fast Runner, Big Spender, Erzählen Mir, Champion Du Champagne, Merlin's Maid. Merlin's Maid started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Fast Runner looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Exclusive Hi-Hat couldn't come out from behind the leader, Tonic. Big Spender galoped after 1000m and lost 30 m.




Fast Runner looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Unknown galloped for 20 m. driver couldn't keep General Thinking to trotting so they were disqualified.




Champion Du Champagne seemed to be in top-form this day and took over the lead.



With only a little left of the race Malakhov galoped for 50 m. Malakhov was disturbed and galopped for 50 m. Champion Du Champagne kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Tonic won. Champion Du Champagne came in second. Fast Runner caught third place.
