The sun was shining on Åmål today. A perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Rolling Pearl found a gap and took the lead. Sneaky Legend followed before Contadino. Shot Of Love galloped way to long and was disqualified.




This is the positions after 500m. Buster Rori, Rolling Pearl, Flying Moment, Contadino, Pink Starlight, Sneaky Legend, Unire Mio Viaggio, Shot Of Love. A bird flew just in front of Sneaky Legend who started to galop and lost 30 m.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Buster Rori was still in the lead after 1500m.



Buster Rori looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Buster Rori didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
