One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.
Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Hey Dude. Betty Boop Pegasos ended up behind the leader. Kvarngärdets Beata got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. Kvarngärdets Boston was to eager when the car accellerated, galopped and was disqualified.
Hey Dude was in fine shape and held the lead. A bird flew just in front of Kvarngärdets Beata who started to galop and lost 10 m.
Oskar Svanberg tried a little too much on the homestretch and Screaming
Mustache started to galopp and lost 10 m. Kvarngärdets Boston was disturbed and galopped for 50 m.
