The sun was shining on Oviken and it was a perfect day for trotting.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Big Valley. Perttulan Parooni ended up behind the leader. Lost Paradise got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.

Running Striker saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

Perttulan Parooni sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Long Distance Operator galloped way to long and was disqualified.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Perttulan Parooni followed by Melody Rocker and Big Valley. Lane two Falling Night followed by Lausitz and Lost Paradise.

Falling Night suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

Melody Rocker won. Big Valley came in second. Lausitz caught third place.
