One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Couturier found a gap and took the lead. Weetje Roep followed before Sliding Boulder. Daniel Wikberg wanted a little to much in the start and Quick Scope galoped for 10 m. Forceful Arraow was to eager when the car accellerated, galopped and was disqualified.




Modric quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Sliding Boulder took the lead after 1000m. Couturier didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Sliding Boulder today. It continued in the lead.



Modric suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

Swinging Hope galopped for 40 m on the homestretch.




Couturier sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
