The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Dannero today. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Purple Tropic. Athletic General ended up behind the leader. Stay With Me got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Nothing seemed to be able to stop Purple Tropic today. It continued in the lead. Purple Tropic sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch. Micael Melander tried a little too much on the homestretch and Olivia Hoff started to galopp and lost 10 m. Athletic General never caught up with Purple Tropic who won. Sophisticated Closet came third. Results
