One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Pampered Lemon was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Fighting Night sprinted to the front.

Crewmember looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Vereinigte Ehre couldn't come out from behind the leader, Fighting Night.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Fighting Night today. It continued in the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Marquise Amo gallopped for 10 m.

Fighting Night kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.

Fighting Night looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.
