The sun was shining on Östersund and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Red Lilac tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Tampere that came steaming ahead.




Red Lilac quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Tampere looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



Tampere kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Troubling Spring sprinted over the finishline before Red Lilac and Tampere.
