It had been raining for several days at Dannero but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Merci Beaucoup was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Grieg Hof sprinted to the front.




Bol Angel sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Bol Angel was still in the lead after 1500m.




Bol Angel sat safely in the lead after 2000m.



Bol Angel looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Grieg Hof won the race after a spectacular finish.
